Hi! My name is Ingrid, I’m a Utah-based Artist and full-time student who works in a variety of mediums including tattooing, painting, and illustrating. My inspiration comes from the people and places I interact with in my daily life, as well as my affinity for cool tattoos, funny text, and weird antiques. I always start my work by gathering photos from my camera roll (mainly from the thrift store or my daily walks with my dog Peach) then I play with them digitally before collaging them into a physical piece. I love experimenting with independent images or objects and recontextualizing them into a new space. This year I would really love to gear my artwork towards the queer community and create work that feels joyful, humorous and comforting in these difficult times.
